What will the Empower Gala online broadcast be like?
The Empower Gala online broadcast will be a livestream of the same program that our in-person audience is watching. You’ll be able to connect with other guests using our chat feature. Any gifts you make during the program will be recognized live in the room along with our in-person guests—you are as much a part of our celebration as those gathering with us in person, so come along and invite your friends! It’s free to tune in and everyone’s invited.
How do I participate in the virtual event?
Click here before the Empower Gala online broadcast goes live on Friday, June 2 at 7 pm. If you need assistance during the program, please text or call our tech support line at 503-564-3044 between 6:30–8 pm and we’ll be happy to help you.
What will the in-person program be like during Empower Gala?
While you enjoy dinner, we’ll begin our program. Chief Executive Officer Brittini Lasseigne will share YWCA’s impact for more than 13,000 people across Clark County. We’ll listen to some of their stories, and you’ll have the chance to empower more people with a donation that will be recognized in the room. After we say goodbye to our guests tuning in online, we’ll have a special raffle drawing and live auction to continue our support for YWCA’s services. We’ll then keep connecting during our post-program dance party as we celebrate our collective power to enact change.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to YWCA Clark County at the event?
In-person guests: You will be asked for your credit card during the registration process when you arrive to the Hilton Vancouver Washington to start a tab. You will then be provided a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the night to include all of your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. You will be emailed your receipt, or we can print one for you that night. You can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at checkout.

How long will cocktail hour be and when is dinner?
Cocktail hour is at 6 pm. Dinner will begin at 7 pm.

Valet parking is available for $39.
What kinds of drinks will be available, and will they be complimentary?
2 drink tickets are included in purchase of a ticket. A variety of nonalocholic beverages will be complimentary. You will also be able to purchase a cocktail.
What if I have a food allergy?
Let your server know when you get to your dinner table the night of the event. They can accommodate any food requests you have (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc).
Can I bring children?
This event is appropriate for adults and teens.
